On 3rd March 2026 the regular Peace Witness at the Gates of Menwith Hill was supported by more people than usual. MoD Police presence increased from the usual one to three officers by the Main Gate. Witness was peaceful and calm but all cars exiting the base were stopped for a short time so posters and banners could be displayed. Concern growing about the military action being taken by the USA and Israel in Iran. The clear call is for an immediate cease fire and reconciliation to be worked on seriously. 

The base seems busier than usual with more vehicle movements through the gates than usual .

Other concerned people are welcome to join us at the Main Gates of RAF Menwith Hill on any Tuesday evening from 6pm to 7pm.
